The second installment in the “Eiheiji Terroir” series. Made with 100% Yamada Nishiki brewer’s rice produced in Eiheiji. The culture is made from Hokuriku yeast from Kanazawa. This accomplished brew is produced with local rice, water, and yeast. A rich and deep bouquet in the mouth is a signature of the Kanazawa yeast used. A clear, brisk feeling and smooth drink going down pair with a pleasant dry note in this junmai daiginjo sake.

Hakuryu brand aims to be a terroir SAKE local to Eiheiji, one that can only be produced here from the rich terrain. This is an energizing tipple to be enjoyed with a meal. It will give you vitality for the challenges you face the next day.

Made with Yamada Nishiki brewer’s rice produced in the clear underground waters at the foothills of Mount Hakusan. The waters are also sourced from this area and used to purify the rice. Hakuryu is produced from a clear and mineral-rich water that is free of impurity. This fully brings out the umami of the rice.
