Using a dry flavor signature to Niigata, a bit of extra punch is added to create a sake beloved by young people. This sake debuted in 2005. The brand has become a favorite of sake drinkers for offering a delicious Kanbara sake flavor right from the first pour. This item in the Kanbara line uses Gohyakumangoku rice. This sake, nicknamed Bride of the Fox, gets its name from an unusual local festival. It has become very popular, even overseas.

Our brewery is located along the Agano River, an area rich in fresh water and verdant greenery.
We were founded in 1880. The company goes by the trade name Kanbaraya.
Our signature brew, Kirin, gets its name from Kirin Castle, which once existed in the nearby Kirin Mountains. The Kirin, a giraffe-like creature in Oriental legend that is said to appear in auspicious times, gives this brew its name.
